I know there is quite a few of you who are or still are fans of the used to be ever so popular sidekick. Well according to sources T-Mobile might be coming back with a new and improved sidekick that is 4g capable. It would run android 2.2. and it looks like they have a forward facing camera as well so that's definitely an upgrade. It could be a downfall that Samsung is behind all of this only because we've seen how long it takes their devices to get Android updates so who knows when the 2.2 sidekick would get a 2.3 update.

Well there is some unfortunate news if you are on the Sprint now network. Apparently they are going to start charging an extra 10 dollars a month onto their 3G Everything data plans, which just happens to be what Epic and Evo owners pay now for their 4G. Not sure if that was a smart move seeing how now you might as well get a 4G phone if your paying the same price for one anyways. But not to worry if you have an existing 3G Everything plan your cost wont go up until you upgrade or add another smartphone to your line.

The new California governor Jerry Brown is trying to give back some money to the people of the state and he wants to start by getting rid of at least half of the states issued cell phones... which is around 50,000 phones. Now it might be more expensive if he tries to do this while the phones are in a contract due to early termination fees. Its pretty sad when 40 percent of the states employees are given a phone paid by tax payers.
