California Govenor Tries to Minimize State Employees Paid Cell Phones

The new California governor Jerry Brown is trying to give back some money to the people of the state and he wants to start by getting rid of at least half of the states issued cell phones... which is around 50,000 phones. Now it might be more expensive if he tries to do this while the phones are in a contract due to early termination fees. Its pretty sad when 40 percent of the states employees are given a phone paid by tax payers.
